Infants, Children and Youth Safety Policy  

Mission Statement: It is in the best interests of the church and its children and youth to adopt policies, procedures and screening tools to assist in protecting the physical, mental and emotional well being of the children and youth who participate in the church-sponsored activities at Faith Lutheran Church. Communion Policy

Faith Activities Cancelation Policy

 All Faith activities will be canceled if West Des Moines schools are canceled on that day or are dismissed early because of weather conditions. In addition, if schools are held for a full day and weather conditions decline in the afternoon, a decision will be made by 4:00 p.m. regarding cancellation. This information will be posted with WHO 1040 AM Radio and KCCI TV Channel 8. A message will also be left on the church’s answering machine.

 

If Faith activities are held and a participant feels the conditions are unsafe for travel, the participant is encouraged to use his or her own judgment.

 

Saturday and Sunday worship will always be held, regardless of weather conditions.
